The agreement between Meta and James Cameron’s 3D studio, Lightstorm Entertainment, encompasses the creation of a diverse range of immersive content, including live sports and concerts, feature films, and TV series built around “big-name IP.” According to a recent Meta blog post, the Quest headset will serve as Lightstorm Vision’s exclusive mixed-reality (MR) hardware platform for these projects. This partnership underscores Meta’s push to enhance its VR ecosystem with high-quality, immersive entertainment experiences.
